Overview
Netro can setup your new device, such as Notebook, Desktop and/or Server ready for use, such as:
Hardware
- Charge notebook battery
- Set correct time & zone (including
DST if applicable)
Windows setup
- Country or region, Time & currency, Keyboard layout
- Account user name & computer name
- Password
- Microsoft Software Licence Terms & End User Licence Agreement
- Windows update settings
- Time zone, date & time
- Join a wireless network (if applicable)
- Privacy settings.
Windows Security
- Setup BitLocker XTS-AES 256-bit full disk encryption with passphrase/ TPM.
- Run Windows update, install latest Service Pack & security updates etc.
- Uninstall trail anti virus software, replace with
Microsoft Windows Defender
- Install latest virus & spyware definitions, do quick scan.
Networking
- Configure Wireless network with WPA2 or WPA
Applications
- Install Microsoft Office, enter licence key & online activation.
- Configure Mail
- Configure Google Chrome and/or Mozilla Firefox.
- Clean Desktop, remove unnecessary shortcuts to backup folder & remove sidebar.
- Update Windows Experience Index.
- Install latest security updates for Java
32 & 64-bit
& Adobe Reader etc.
- Install Chrome Remote Deskstop (For remote support).
- Install VoIP client such as MyNetFone Softphone (Internet telephony).
Backup

Create a system repair disc
- Create OEM factory default backup disc & application/ driver backup disc (if
applicable)
