Overview:
SASL (Simple Authentication & Security Layer) allows outgoing emails to be sent
via mail server once authenticated (logged in). Used to provide additional
security
to reduce risk of UBE (Unsolicited bulk email), also known as SPAM.
Required for all Netro DSL clients.
Configuration
Outlook/ Outlook Express Instructions:
Tools, Accounts
Click Mail Tab
Properties
Click Server Tab
Under "Outgoing Mail Server"
Tick: My Server requires authentication
