Introduction
The NBN (National Broadband Network) uses various technology types to provide fast Internet access including:
- FttP (Fibre to the Premises)
- FttB (Fibre to the Building)
- FttC (Fibre to the Curb)
- FttN (Fibre to the Node)
- HFC (Hybrid Fibre Coax)
- FW (Fixed Wireless)
- Satellite

We currently recommend the following modem router: Netcomm NF18ACV
- Ethernet for FttP, HFC & FW services.
- VDSL (Very-high-bit-rate Digital Subscriber Line) for FttB, FttC & FttN services.
- ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) for traditional telephone line based broadband services
  whilst NBN is being deployed/ provisioned in your area.
