Overview
Incoming Email attachments are scanned using anti
virus software on the Netro mail server.
DAT (virus definition) files are normally updated nightly. Please do not rely on this to protect your
system, since we cannot guarantee that all attachments and all viruses will be
checked and detected.
If you receive an email from our system with subject "FOUND
VIRUS IN MAIL from user@domain.com", it will show details of the virus
detected and the original message will be rejected. This could indicate that the
senders system could be compromised, and may need to have updated Anti Virus
software installed to rectify the issue. Please note that some Viruses spoof the
senders email address. To determine where the email originated, check the
Received field in the email.
