Overview
Microsoft Outlook normally comes bundled with
Microsoft Office
At the time of writing (Jun 07), Outlook 2003 with Service Pack 2 is the latest
product version.
Getting Starting
- Click the Start button.
- Point to All Programs.
- Click the Microsoft Office Folder.
- Select Outlook.
First time Setup
- Tools, Email Accounts
- Email: Add a new email account
- Server Type: POP3
- User Information
- Your Name:
- Email address: userid@netro.com.au (Make sure you type your
correct address)
- Logon Information
- User Name: userid (exclude "@netro.com.au")
- Password: ******* (Case sensitive)
- Server Information:
- Incoming mail server (POP3): pop.netro.com.au
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.netro.com.au
- More settings, Outgoing Server
- Tick: My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
- click OK
- Next, Finish
